I was run off the road on my way to work, June 2004, and was lucky to be wearing my Giali trousers. Being an instructor, I have worn them for a number of years. Sliding down the tarmac for a fair way, I came away with one very minor graze on the knee. Bum, hips, calves and so on were all fine. The trousers definitely did what they were meant to do.

On 4th July 2003 I was riding to the test centre in Milton Keynes to take my motorcycle test, when a car driver pulled out of a side road straight into me. I suffered a broken hand, broken toe, fractured elbow, and severe bruising to my back, arms and ankles. However, thanks to the fact that I was wearing a pair of Giali armoured jeans, my legs were completely unharmed. Considering my other injuries, I believe that if I had not been wearing them, I would have come off much worse.
